Welcome to the Logan Fire Departments Web site. We welcome any suggestions on what you would like to see us provide with this web site. The Logan Fire Department is here to protect the citizens of Logan and Hocking County.

The Logan Fire Department has ten full time personnel, eleven part time, and five volunteers. We work out of one station located at 155 East Main Street, Logan Ohio. We cover ninety-four square mile sin Hocking County.

Emergency runs are received by the Hocking County 911 Center and then dispatched via radio and teletype. Once received the fire fighters are leaving the station in approximately 90 seconds to respond to the emergency. Our average response time to the scene is 7 minutes depending on how far away from the station the incident is.

Apart from firefighting the department also provides fire inspections for commercial structures. We inspect for life safety and fire safety. Our Fire Code complies with Ohio Fire Code and B.O.C.A.
